30-Year-Old Janet Hernandez Killed In Claremont, CA Accident

DUI wreck on Mount Baldy Road

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, January 17th in Claremont, California.  30-year-old Janet Hernandez was tragically killed in a car crash on Mount Baldy Road and Mountain Avenue. Preliminary info is that a 30-year-old Los Angeles man was at the wheel of a 2018 Toyota Camry, traveling unsafely for rainy weather and roadway conditions. At some point, he allowed his Toyota to veer to the right and eventually crashed into a dirt berm. Authorities arrested the driver on suspicion of DUI causing injury or death and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
