30-Year-Old Justin Dale Killed In Lake, CA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, January 16th in Lake, California. 30-year-old Justin Dale, was tragically killed when the vehicle he was a passenger in crashed on Highway 20. According to the California Highway Patrol, 31-year-old Patricia Martha Murphy was driving westbound in a 2012 Volkswagen under the influence. At around 11:52 p.m., she allowed the car to travel too far to the right and crashed into the rear of a parked Ram 5500 pickup truck. Dale, who was a passenger in the Volkswagen, tragically died at the scene. Murphy was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol when the crash occurred. CHP continues to investigate the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
