Ridge RdPosted: 3 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This Story Tragic accident that occurred on March 27th in Elyria, Ohio. 30-year-old Kaylie Eskins was tragically killed in a two-vehicle accident caused by a suspected drunk driver at the intersection of Dellefield and West Ridge roads. As Eskins stopped and proceeded to make a right turn, a 2008 Audi S5 struck the rear of her Ford, causing both vehicles to travel off the roadway. Eskins was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Eskins' 1-year-old son was brought to Mercy Health – Lorain Hospital. He was later flown to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland with serious injuries. Townsley was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and reckless operation. Excessive speed and impairment are believed to be a factor in this crash, while additional criminal charges are pending, the release said.
