30-Year-Old Ronaldo Landaverde Killed In Brentwood, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on February 24 in Brentwood, New York. 30-year-old Ronaldo Landaverde was killed after the vehicle in which he was a passenger in collided with a garbage truck on Suffolk Avenue. The driver tried to make a left turn onto Fulton Street and was hit by a westbound 2014 Kenwood garbage truck.  Police said the front-seat passenger in the Infiniti, Ronaldo Landaverde, sustained fatal injuries and died at South Shore University Hospital. The Infiniti driver was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, police said. Anyone with information about the accident was urged to call Major Case at 631-852-6555.
