31-Year-Old Amber Madrano Killed In Corpus Christi, TX Accident

Fiery 2-vehicle collision was on Sunday afternoon

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, December 20 at around 12:04 PM in Corpus Christi, Texas. 31-year-old Amber Madrano was identified as one of two women that tragically lost their lives in a two vehicle crash along FM 665 near County Road 61. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, troopers had witnessed a passenger vehicle driving at a high rate of speed, passing other vehicles along the way. Shortly after, the vehicle crashed head on into a four-door passenger vehicle causing both vehicles to come to rest in a field off the roadway. Both vehicles erupted into flames. Ms Medrano, and a 22-year-old woman, sadly succumbed to injuries from the crash. Two children ages three and eight were airlifted to Driscoll Children’s Hospital for treatment. The driver of the speeding vehicle who was not identified also died from the collision. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victims.
