31-Year-Old Chelsea Smith Injured In Wasioja, MN Accident

Smith's Nissan Rogue collided with big rig on Highway 14

Tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday, December 30 at around 9:24 AM in Wasioja, Minnesota. 31-year-old Chelsea Smith was injured in a crash with a semi truck on Highway 14. According to the Minnesota State patrol Smith was traveling in a Nissan when she collided with a Freightliner tractor trailer driven by 28-year-old Shawn Overend. Further details regarding the accident we’re not immediately made available. Smith was taken to Saint Mary’s hospital for treatment of her injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
