Mr. Gaylord was putting gas in his disabled Ford on the side of the highway, when 69-year-old Mark Westin driving an 18 wheeler Mack truck struck the pedestrian. The victim was then knocked into a Hyundai that was parked in front of his vehicle. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The crash remains under investigation.
