32-Year-Old Vanessa Sowell Killed In Appleby, Texas Accident

The accident remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, January 15 at around 3:30 AM in Appleby, Texas. 32-year-old Vanessa Sowell was tragically killed when her vehicle was struck head-on by another driver on US 59. 63-year-old Ira Caraway drove into the northbound lanes striking Sowell's Nissan head-on. Sowell and her two passengers, 41-year-old Damien Davis, and 31-year-old Christian Dodd were sadly killed in the accident. The accident remains under investigation.
