Chanel Yvonne Cohen was fatally struck by a vehicle

A tragic accident occurred on April 13 in San Diego when 33-year-old Chanel Yvonne Cohen was fatally struck by a vehicle. According to the California Highway Patrol, Cohen was walking on the northbound Interstate Route 5 transition road to Pershing Drive when she was hit by an unidentified vehicle. She was transported to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at approximately 11:30 p.m. Authorities have not yet identified the driver. The incident remains under investigation.
