34-Year-Old Sammi Mitchell-Henderson Killed In Denison, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday, May 12 at around Midnight in Denison, Texas. 34-year-old Sammi Mitchell-Henderson was tragically killed when she was struck by a vehicle on Spur 503. The victim was walking home from her job when she was struck by a car near Park Avenue. 

As family and friends grieve her loss, coworkers are hosting a celebration of life for her at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 19th, at HeyDay for those touched by Sammi. A benefit in Sammi’s memory is scheduled for June 5th at the Kiotee Club. She tragically passed away two days later. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
