35-Year-Old Maria Tellez Killed In Oakland Park, FL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on August 28th in Oakland Park, FL. 35-year-old Maria Tellez was tragically killed in a multi-vehicle crash caused by a driver who was fleeing from the police on Oakland Park Boulevard near Powerline Road. Tellez was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Tellez leaves behind three children, ages 12, 13, and 15. The driver of the vehicle fleeing police faces charges of grand theft auto, aggravated fleeing and eluding with serious injury or death, and resisting an officer without violence The crash remains under investigation.
