35-Year-Old Thomas Snipes III Killed In Lake Wales, FL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday, May 18 at around 7:45 PM in Lake Wales, Florida. 35-year-old Thomas Snipes III was tragically killed when the vehicle he was a passenger in rolled over and crashed on State Road 60. 27-year-old Billy Burgess was operating a pick up when he lost control on a curve. He traveled through the median and rotated before entering the eastbound lanes of traffic. The vehicle flipped several times and then hit a utility pole. The crash remains under investigation by the Polk County Sheriff's Office. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
