36-Year-Old Fran Kelly Killed in Charlotte, NC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, April 10 at around 3:40 AM in Charlotte, North Carolina. 36-year-old Fran Kelly was tragically killed in a hit-and-run crash while attempting to cross the intersection of South Tryon Street at Trade Street. The driver fled the scene without reporting the incident or giving aid to the pedestrian. Police described the suspect vehicle as a burgundy and tan Ford Expedition. Ms. Kelly was rushed to Atrium Main where she sadly passed away. Investigators are asking those with any information to call 704-432-2169, extension 6, or contact Crime Stoppers at 704-34-1600.
