36-Year-Old Michael Alvarez Arrested in Chico, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, October 11 at around 11:30 PM in Chico, California. 36-year-old Michael Alvarez has been arrested for driving under the influence after seriously injuring a pedestrian in the 2800 block of Cohasset Road. Alvarez told authorities he was a passenger of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian and did not know the location of the car or the driver. A short time later officers found the vehicle belonging to Alvarez and he was arrested for driving under the influence and hit and run. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
