37-Year-Old Maria Macias Killed In La Feria, TX Accident

Wreck at Beddoes Road and Business 83

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, January 6th in La Feria, Texas. 37-year-old Maria Macias was tragically killed and her 12-year-old daughter was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident  at an intersection of Beddoes Road and Business 83. According to the La Feria Police Department, the mother and daughter were in a black sedan that was coming to a stop when a white Ford F-150 driven by Bedelin Alegria collided with it. Alegria fled the scene on foot. Macias was rushed to Valley Baptist Medical Center, where she was tragically pronounced dead. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
