38-Year-Old Holly Rubin Injured In Bethel, NY Accident

DUI accident on Route 17B

Tragic accident that occurred on September 11 at around 3 PM in Bethel, New York. 38-year-old Holly Rubin was seriously injured in a two vehicle accident after a vehicle was struck by an under the influence driver on Route 17B. 40 year old Kassandra Demonda was traveling westbound in a Chevy Trailblazer when she crossed the center dividing line and struck the victims Volkswagen head on. Rubin was transported to Garnet Heath Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. The New York State Police charged and arrested Demonda for driving under the influence of drugs, and felony vehicular assault.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
