38-Year-Old Karina Larino Killed In Astoria, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on May 6th in Astoria, New York. 38-year-old Karina Larino lost her life when she was struck by a vehicle that was turning from Astoria Park South onto 21st Street.  Larino was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals Elmhurst where she tragically later died. Authorities have not determined whether the unidentified 73-year-old woman operating the Honda at the time of the crash will face charges. The incident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
