38-Year-Old Michelle Johnson Killed In Modesto, CA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on March 13th in Modesto, California. 38-year-old Michelle Johnson lost her life when she was struck by an alleged drunken driver on Yellowstone Avenue. Johnson was riding a bicycling north when she was struck by a 2017 Acura ILX. Johnson was transported to an area hospital where she later succumbed to injuries. The driver, 51-year-old Christina Castillo, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. She was booked into Stanislaus County Jail and later released on bail. The incident remains under investigation by Modesto police. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
