38-Year-Old Traveras Chrisp Injured In Greensboro, NC AccidentWreck on I-40, near South Elm-Eugene Street Posted: 2 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on December 24th in Greensboro, North Carolina. 38-year-old Traveras Trenten Chrisp was hospitalized with serious injuries in a wrong-way crash on I-40 near the South Elm-Eugene Street exit. The victim was in a 1960 Ford Thunderbird westbound on the interstate when it was hit by a 2004 GMC Envoy. Greensboro police said that the GMC driver, 50-year-old William Junior Grimes Greensboro, was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of the interstate, causing the two-vehicle to collide head-on. Chrisp, a front-seat passenger in the Ford, was transported to Moses Cone Hospital, where he remains in serious condition.
