40-Year-Old David Fernandez Killed In Inwood, NY AccidentThe crash remains under investigationPosted: 2 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on August 3rd in Inwood, New York. 40-year-old David Fernandez was tragically killed in a senseless collision while waiting to cross the intersection of Sherwood Avenue and 207th Street. New York City police say the driver of a BMW sedan heading north on Sherman Avenue apparently ran a red light and T-boned a southbound Subaru. The Subaru then crashed into two parked cars before colliding with the victims. Fernandez was rushed to Allen Pavilion Hospital, but sadly could not be saved. An impromptu memorial has been set up at the intersection where the two men were killed. The NYPD continues to investigate the incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
