40-Year-Old David Weatherspoon Killed In Pell City, AL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on May 3rd in Pell City, Alabama. 40-year-old David Weatherspoon was tragically killed when his SUV was struck by a semi-truck on Interstate 20. Weatherspoon was traveling in a Chevy Suburban when he was hit by a Freightliner tractor-trailer near the 155-mile marker. The force of the collision sent the Suburban into a Freightliner tractor-trailer. Sadly, Weatherspoon was pronounced dead at the scene. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
