41-Year-Old Augustin Vasquez Killed In Lubbock, TX Accident

The accident remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday, February 2nd in Lubbock, Texas. 41-year-old Augustin Vasquez was tragically killed when the box truck that he was operating collided head-on with a tractor-trailer in the 6900 block of Southeast Drive. Vasquez’s box truck was hit by an 18-wheeler driven by 57-year-old Ernesto Aguilar. Both men were rushed to University Medical Center, where they were both sadly  pronounced dead. More details about the crash were not immediately made available, however the accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the families of the victims.
