41-Year-Old Juan Macias Killed In Winton, CA Accident

Pedestrian accident along Almond Avenue

Tragic accident that occurred on December 27th in Winton, California. 41-year-old Juan Macias was tragically killed after being  struck by a vehicle along Almond Avenue between Cypress Avenue and North Winton Way. The victim was pushing a shopping cart, when a Chevrolet Silverado — driving eastbound at about 25 mph — hit him. Macias suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, the California Highway Patrol said. The driver of the Silverado stopped and cooperated with the investigation, the CHP officials added. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
