41-Year-Old Paul Brown Killed In Gaberville, CA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, May 7 in Gaberville, California. 41-year-old Paul Brown was tragically killed after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene after the collision. According to the CHP, a vehicle was traveling west on Sherwood Road when for unknown reasons, it crossed over the double yellow lines and struck Mr. Brown. The vehicle fled the scene after striking the victim. Authorities believe the vehicle that struck him might be a 2018-2020 Hyundai Accent. Brown’s sister, Carrie Callan, described her brother’s untimely death as “horrible and shocking.” Anyone with information is being urged to call the CHP Garberville area at (707) 923-2155 or at the Humboldt Communications Center at (707) 268-2000.
