43-Year-Old Raymond Jackson Killed In Rockford, IL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, April 25 at around 5 PM in Rockford, Illinois. 43-year-old Raymond Jackson was killed when he was struck by a suspect fleeing police. The victim was struck at the intersection of Ninth Street and Harrison Avenue by 27-year-old Devonte Flint. Sadly, Mr. Jackson was killed in the crash. A 12-year-old boy and a three-year-old girl were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. The suspect was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
