According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the accident occurred when a Saturn driven by a 25-year-old man lost control on southbound Highway 46, crossed into the other lane, and struck Speltz’s Toyota Tundra. Speltz and three passengers in the pickup truck, were taken to Essentia Health-Deer River for treatment of their injuries. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
