44-Year-Old Christina Schmelling Killed In George, WA Accident

Pedestrian struck on Interstate 90

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, January 27th in George, Washington. 44-year-Old Christina Schmelling was tragically killed in a pedestrian collision on Interstate 90. Preliminary info is that a 2019 Subaru Ascent struck Christina M. Schmelling as she stood in one of the eastbound I-90 lanes. She was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.  Investigators have not yet released any further information about the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
