Tragic accident that occurred on January 20 in Santa Cruz, California. 45-year-old Anthony Angel Chavez was sadly killed in a pedestrian accident at State Route 1 and River Street. A GoFundMe page has been set up by the family to help offset costs associated with the tragedy. His daughter wrote on the GoFundMe page that her dad was crossing the street in a crosswalk when he was hit. “My dad was a loving, cheerful, and talented young man who touched the lives of anyone who crossed his path,” she said.
