45-Year-Old Brooke Gibbs Involved In Mastic, NY Pedestrian Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on August 30 in Mastic, New York. A man was seriously injured in a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision on Montauk Highway. According to the Suffolk County Police Department, a 2024 Kia operated by 45-year-old Brooke Gibbs was heading westbound when the Kia collided with a pedestrian walking southbound near Park Avenue. The victim was badly hurt and flown to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment. The incident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
