45-Year-Old Richard Humphries Killed In Middleburg, FL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on January 22nd in Middleburg, Florida. 45-year-old Richard Humphries was tragically killed when his bicycle was struck by a hit-and-run driver on N. Mimosa Road. Police are looking for a PT Cruiser in connection that fled the scene immediately after the crash. Troopers believe the suspect vehicle might be a white Chrysler PT Cruiser with damage to the right-front fender and hood. Witnesses are asked to call First Coast Crime Stoppers at 866-845-8477. Humphries was rushed to an area hospital where he tragically later died. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
