46-Year-Old Andrea Hamilton Killed In Treasure Island, FL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, August 7 at around 10 PM in Treasure Island, Florida. 46-year-old Andrea Hamilton was tragically killed after being struck by a drunk driver while walking on the sidewalk of Gulf Boulevard. 55-year-old Mark Walters was operating a GMC Sierra under the influence when he left the roadway and struck the victim. She sustained life-threatening trauma and was taken to a local hospital where she tragically later died. Walters was arrested and charged with DUI manslaughter. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
