46-Year-Old Franklin Poole Jr. Killed In Greensboro, NC Accident

Motorcycle collision on E. Market Street

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, March 29 at around 8:30 AM in Greensboro, North Carolina. 46-year-old Franklin Poole Junior was tragically killed when his motorcycle was struck by an SUV on East Market St. The crash occurred when an eastbound Chevy Tahoe, attempting to make a left hand turn, failed to yield the right of way to Mr. Pooles’ bike. The bike and SUV collided at the intersection. Mr. Poole was transported to an area hospital where he sadly later died. 46-year-old Allen Dawkins was identified as the driver of the Tahoe and was arrested on charges of failing to yield the right of way, and misdemeanor death by a motor vehicle.
