47-Year-Old David Demus Arrested In Dallas, TX DUI AccidentDemus killed a Ten-Year-Old and injured two other childrenPosted: 4 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryDemus charged with 3 feloniesThis is breaking news desk and I’m Stephanie Taylor we had breaking news of a tragic accident that occurred on Monday, December 16 at around 7:20 AM in Dallas Texas. 47-year-old David Demus was arrested in a DUI accident that killed a 10-year-old, and injured two other children. The unidentified victims were traveling in a Nissan Sentra that was struck by Demus when he drove through a stop sign on Maryland Avenue, and struck the left passenger side of the car. After the collision Demus continued driving, hitting a fence on the east side of the road, then backing into another fence on the west side of the road, before finally coming to a stop. Sadly the 10-year-old died as a result of injuries sustained from the crash. The two other children ages 11 and 13 were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Demus was arrested on a charge of intoxication manslaughter with a motor vehicle two counts of intoxication assault with a motor vehicle and accident involving death.
