48-Year-Old John O'Neal Way Killed In Dorchester, SC Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on August 17 in Dorchester, South Carolina. 48-year-old John O'Neal Way was driving a Polaris ATV eastbound on U.S. 178 when it was struck by a 2013 Nissan Altima, also traveling east. The impact caused the Polaris to veer off the left side of the road, where it overturned. The Nissan also left the roadway, traveling off the right side and colliding with a tree. Way was pronounced dead at the scene. The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office continue investigating the collision. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
