According to a deputy a 2017 Jeep Compass, driven by 20-year-old Dashawn Hale was turning left when he failed to yield the right-of-way and was struck by a 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle, Bookless, was ejected from the bike and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
