49-Year-Old Holly Francis Killed In Jefferson, MO Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on March 8th in Jefferson, Missouri. 49-year-old Holly Francis lost her life when her Volkswagen Passat was struck by an oncoming pickup truck attempting to pass other motorists on Highway 21. A southbound 2012 GMC Sierra 2500 pickup truck driven by a 46-year old man attempted to pass two vehicles also traveling in the same direction, and struck the front of the Passat. The Passat spun out and was contacted by a southbound 2011 Ford F250 pickup truck driven by a 65-year-old man.  Francis was fatally injured in the crash and tragically pronounced dead at the site.  The MSHP assigned fault to the Sierra operator for improperly trying to pass cars.
