Crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, December 10 at about 5:30 AM in Clearwater Florida. 49-year-old James Smith sadly died two days after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash at Golf To Bay Boulevard and Old Coachman Road. Smith was taken to Mease Countryside Hospital and then taken to Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa where he sadly passed away. The crash is under investigation by the Clearwater Police Department. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
