49-Year-Old Thomas Antral Killed In Beaumont, CA Accident

Wrong way crash on State Route 60

Tragic accident that occurred on  April 23rd in Beaumont, California. 49-year-old Thomas Antral was tragically killed in a wrong-way crash on State Route 60 near Jack Rabbit Trail.  28-year-old  Eva Gonzalez was driving a Hyundai Sonata eastbound in the freeway's westbound lanes at about 90 mph when she crashed into Antrals Chevrolet Malibu.  Sadly, Antral died at the scene. One of Malibu's passengers, a 40-year-old Pico Rivera man, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. Investigators are working to determine why Gonzalez was speeding and traveling in the wrong direction. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
