5-Year-Old Caleb Posadas Killed In Houston, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, April 11th in Houston, Texas. 5-year-old Caleb Posadas was tragically killed when the vehicle he was traveling in was struck by an alleged drunken driver. 26-year-old Sebastian Matta collided with the Nissan Caleb and his father were passengers in. The Nissan was headed south on Fountainview Drive, and entering the intersection with the Southwest Freeway service road with a green light when they were struck. Both Caleb and his father were transported to an area hospital, where Caleb sadly died. Matta attempted to flee on foot but was detained by witnesses. He was hospitalized for observation and then arrested on suspicion of intoxication manslaughter. The accident remains under investigation by HPD. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of this tragically young victim.
