50-Year-Old Belvin Parker Injured In Mamers, NC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, May 23 in Mamers, North Carolina. 50-year-old Belvin Parker was injured in a head-on crash on US 421. Mr. Parker was operating a Ford pickup when he was struck by a Chevy SUV that crossed over the centerline. The Chevy was operated by 38-year-old Rodney Hackney. Mr. Hackney's vehicle caught on fire and he succumbed to injuries sustained in the wreck. Mr. Parker was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
