50-Year-Old Sherron Alexander Killed In Cherokee, SC AccidentThe accident remains under investigationPosted: 4 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on Friday, March 19 at around 10:22 PM in Cherokee, South Carolina. 50-year-old Sherron Alexander was tragically killed when she was involved in a six vehicle accident along Interstate 85 near milepost 88. Ms. Alexander was traveling in a Nissan Altima when she stopped due to construction. That is when 61-year-old Gary Parks, who was operating a Volvo tractor trailer, crashed into the rear end of Ms. Alexander‘s vehicle. The Nissan burst into flames and Ms. Alexander was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Four additional vehicles, including three tractor trailers, were also involved in the crash.
