51-Year-Old Aleida Rios Killed In Beaumont, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, April 15th in Beaumont, Texas. 51-year-old Aleida Tovias Rios was tragically killed when the vehicle that she was a passenger in was struck by a 16-year-old driver who ran a red light  on the Interstate Highway 10 service road. The teen was operating a Dodge truck at a high rate of speed and did not stop for a red light at the 11th Street intersection. Subsequently, the truck struck the side of a Chevrolet that Rios was traveling in. The crash remains under investigation by The Beaumont PD’s Traffic Division. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
