51-Year-Old Bonnie Stewart Killed In Pomona, WA Accident

Suspected DUI on State Route 823

 Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, May 15 in Pomona, Washington. 51-year-old Bonnie Stewart was tragically killed after being struck by a suspected drunken driver on State Route 823. The victim was walking in a construction zone when she was struck by 21-year-old Jada Gibson who did not stop for traffic. Gibson collided with two vehicles before striking Stewart. Stewart was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. No charges have yet to be filed, however alcohol is suspected to be involved. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
