51-Year-Old Jacqueline Sheffield Killed In El Paso, TX Accident

Accident on US Highway 54

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, December 11 at around 7:35 PM in El Paso, Texas. 51-year-old Jacqueline Sheffield was tragically killed in a crash between a bus and a Chevrolet on US Highway 54. The bus driver collided with the rear of the Chevy pick up truck near the Cassidy exit. Sheffield, a passenger in the Chevy pick up, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.  Police believe the driver was distracted by a cell phone and failed to notice the stalled truck with its hazards on. He faces charges of manslaughter and aggravated assault. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
