51-Year-Old Jimmie Long Killed In Macon, GA AccidentThe crash remains under investigationPosted: 2 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTraffic accident that occurred on May 24th in Macon, Georgia. 51-year-old Jimmie Long was tragically killed in a crash with an impaired driver at Monroe Street on Georgia Avenue. Long was traveling in a GMC Sierra that was struck by a Nissan Frontier driven by 33-year-old Tiffany Sayers. Police said that Sayers failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the GMC. Long was rushed to Atrium Health Medical Center where he was sadly pronounced dead. Sayers, who had her 6-year-old daughter in her vehicle, was charged with DUI, child endangerment by driving under the influence, failure to stop at a stop sign, hit and run, and vehicular homicide. The crash remains still under investigation.
