51-Year-Old Theodore Banks Killed In Long Beach, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on August 2 in Long Beach, California. 51-year-old Theodore Banks was killed in a hit-and-run crash that also severely injured his passenger in the area of 14th Street and Cherry Avenue. Tragically, Theodore Banks died as a result of his injuries at a hospital. Guillermo Penaloza was traveling at a high rate of speed when he entered the intersection and slammed into a southbound four-door Saturn. A female passenger riding with Banks was transported to the hospital with critical injuries. Penaloza reportedly fled the scene on foot. However, he was later arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and a few other charges. Anyone with information about the case was urged to contact LBPD at 562-570-7355.
