The incident happened at approximately 8:15 a.m. along County Road 29, west of Highway 113. Authorities say Lewis was riding in the bike lane when a westbound tractor failed to notice him and collided with his bicycle. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The tractor operator was unharmed, according to the California Highway Patrol. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Woodland CHP office at 530-702-6250.
