54-Year-Old Maria Hernandez Killed In San Luis Obispo, CA Accident

Two vehicle crash along Highway 101

Tragic accident that occurred on April 16th in San Luis Obispo, California. 54-year-old Maria Hernandez was one of two passengers who lost their lives in a two-vehicle crash along Highway 101. According to a preliminary report a 41-year-old driver pulled onto the shoulder, when the 21-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Suburban swerved and slammed into the rear of the vehicle. The car was catapulted approximately 120 feet. Hernandez and another passenger sadly succumbed to injuries from the crash. CHP said alcohol was a factor in the crash.
