55-Year-Old Josephine Sever Killed In Lakewood, OH Accident

DUI at Cove Ave. and Clifton Blvd.

Tragic accident that occurred on  April 23rd in Lakewood, Ohio. 55-year-old Josephine Sever was tragically killed in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Cove Avenue and Clifton Boulevard. The incident occurred when Sever stopped at a red light and as she attempted to cross over she was struck by a Kia. Sever was taken to MetroHealth, where she later succumbed to injuries. The Sportage driver was later taken into police custody. Charges against him are possible, police said. Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
