56-Year-Old Richard Bethune Injured In Bloomington, MN AccidentCollision was Sunday on snowy Interstate 35WPosted: 4 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryHENNEPIN COUNTYThis is breaking news task and I’m Stephanie Taylor we have breaking news of a tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, December 13 at 4:44 PM in Bloomington Minnesota. 56-year-old Richard Bethune was seriously injured in a four vehicle crash along interstate 35 west. According to a report from the Minnesota state patrol Mr. Bethune jeep was stalled in the left lane beneath the 90th St. bridge when a Ford swerved at the last second to avoid the vehicle, but clipped the right side. A Chevy Tahoe then rear ended the stalled jeep and struck Mr. Bethune, who had at that time exited the vehicle. A Ford F150 was also sideswiped by the swerving vehicles. Mr. Bethune suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. The Minnesota state police reported that there was snow and ice on the roadway at the time of the crash.
